This weekend sees the annual MuralFest, which sees a six artists working across the weekend to produce a finished mural by 6pm on Sunday.

This year’s theme comes from the a poem, Scary Haven, by John Lindsay.

At Haven’s side by Prestongrange
where the Baltics berthed by night
You might hear the yell of the Hoi-Hoi Man
Or the knock of a Polstersprite
You could swim from the stranded Topaz hulk
whence a voice from the Follet’s den
Shrilled:- “it’s no ‘weel moored!
It’s no weel moored!
It’ll ne’er be moored again!“

Cuthill Park can be found by turning right onto Prestongrange Road as you arrive into Prestonpans from Musselburgh.
