The incredible Battle of Prestonpans Tapestry returns ‘home’ for a week. Make sure that you see the 105 metre tapestry designed by Andrew Crummy and embroidered by over 200 volunteers. for the Year of the Homecoming, will include 25 countries across the world. Panels from Barga, Italy and Gothenburg, Sweden will be on display
Over 160,000 people have seen the tapestry in over 30 venues. The Tapestry has been all over Scotland, London and 2 successful outings at The Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Soon it is off to sit by its inspiration The Bayeux Tapestry in France. Come and see what all the fuss is about.
